Our Story

Long before Brewmance first opened its doors in 2022, co-owners Hoky and Davide dreamed of having a café they could call their own. With over 20 years of combined experience in the industry, they were ready to spread their wings and eager to create a space where people from all walks of life could connect over coffee.

Although excited to purchase an old shop in Crows Nest, others discouraged them, saying, “No one has been successful in that shop for years,” and questioning, “Does Crows Nest really need another café?” But they were determined to prove the naysayers wrong.

In just one short year, they quickly became known as the best thing to hit the lower north shore, taking it by storm—one brew at a time…

As for their dream of sharing their passion for coffee with others? Well, let’s just say the Brew Crew is just getting started…

I really like their magic coffee. A lovely way to start the day and have lunch with friends. The coffee was gorgeous, and we ordered the breakfast wrap with kimchi, which was tasty but not really for me (no fault of the cafe!). What really made the visit stand out, though, was the service. The staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly and welcoming, and they made us feel right at home. We'd happily come back!
